With 6/8 tips and 2/3 green smiley bets in the bank last weekend, Stats Insider’s NRL Model continues it’s amazing season heading into Round 9. 

Simulating each match 10,000 times and constantly updating as new information comes in, the model has been solid as a rock after two months of 2021. 

That actually may be a little too complimentary to rocks, given the models results so far (48/64 tips @ 75% and 15/23 bets @ 65%).

These results we are keeping track of here at Club 20 aren’t even closing info, they aren’t even day of game!

I suspect that if you were looking at the match pages just prior to kick off results would be even more impressive.

I know by now that most of the Club 20 regulars have come around to the fact that they suck at tipping and punting compared to the model, but I’m still running into people who have not yet cottoned on.

So I thought that this week our guest tipster might be able to help some more people see reason, and I was spot on choosing New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Her people promptly replied to our email with this response;

“Looking at results so far in 2021, it seems to us a waste of time even having a guest make tips when they are beaten handsomely each and every week by your stats model. Why not just go with the selections the model suggests?”
