Round 5 Super Saturday of Footy @ Club 20

We’ve got 10 bets in play (so far!) for what looks a great day of footy betting with several selection decisions by sides offering clear opportunity for us to attack.

Our main focus is on the Dogs v Suns game but we will likely have a few further bets in the later game at the MCG as soon as the Power confirm what looks to be some questionable selection decisions.

Enjoy your super Saturday!

Swans v Giants

The Sydney derby does not tend to be a goal-fest but this Giants backline is severely undersized.

We’re going to take the big Buddy to kick straight, the kids are kicking it to him and with no Phil Davis the Giants will struggle mightily to contain him.

Franklin 5+ @ 6.50, 6+ @ 16.00

Bulldogs v Suns

Aaaahh the beautiful Gold Coast – beautiful ones day, f*ck all key defenders the next!!!

Stewy Dew has to play Caleb Graham back in this game, that or Jack Hombsch comes into the team late, either way the Suns will be chips in on winning clearances here, and if they can’t (likely), this will be pretty brutal.

As a Suns fan I hope I’m wrong, but to paraphrase that classic South Park episode, when you have no talls against a dominant clearance team dripping in tall marking targets, you’re gonna have a bad time!

Whatever the Suns do with their 22, Tim English will have a whole foot on his direct opponent at any given time throughout this game, and coming off a 3.3 game against Brisbane, we’re inclined to jump on the big ruck who will likely get a lot of time in the forward line with Jordon Sweet enjoying his AFL debut against midgets.

Tim English 3+ @ 3.00, 4+ @ 4.75, 5+ @ 17.00, 6+ @ 48.00

Marcus Bontempelli will also get a sensational matchup forward here, so we are throwing in a few 2-leg multi’s for good measure.

English 3+ , Bont 2+ @ 6.50

English 3+, Bont 3+ @ 14.00

On the Disposals front, with no Caleb Daniel there are possessions across that half back line to be had and I suspect Bailey Williams will step up, which makes the 3.75 about his 25+ touches look red hot.

Taking that and a 30+ game from him, and also adding in a third multi

Williams 25+ @ 3.75, 30+ 11.00

English 3+ , Bont 2+, Williams 25+ @ 21.00

Lions v Bombers

Lachie Neale for 30 touches was on our radar as soon as the odds came out, but the forecast for Brisbane looks pretty horrid so despite Neale loving the wet, it is a game we are going to let go through to the keeper.

Blues v Power

No Duursma, no Drew and no Butters, and more importantly no real pure midfield additions to the Power lineup has our attention drawn to guys like Motlop, Amon and Houston in the Disposals market.

Want to make sure that Drew is not a late inclusion so we will settle on final selections for this game closer to bounce, so make sure to check back in with us on twitter before bounce.

Hedge

Cruelly denied sporting glory due to recurring shin splint complaints and an aversion to warm-up laps, Hedge now spends his days golfing, fishing the leaves out of the Club 20 pools and identifying value plays in PGA, AFL, AFLW and T20. All you really need to know about him is he's more than comfortable taking 3I off the tee on a Par 5, and more than capable of pulling driver off the deck second shot.
