NRL Preliminary Finals 2022 Try Scorer Tips

Alex Johnston Anytime Try at $1.83

At the time of writing, the NRL's leading try scorer, Alex Johnston, looks unlikely to play for the Roosters this week. But if AJ does play, he's the most likely player to score across the weekend.

Johnston has scored 30 tries for the second straight year in 2022 and has a 47.5% probability of adding to that tally against the Panthers this week.

This probability means our fair odds are $2.10. BlueBet is offering $1.83.

Brian To'o Anytime Try at $1.80

With two tries in each of his past two games, Brian To'o is projected as the most likely Panthers player to cross the line again this week.

To'o has taken his season total to 10 tries in 16 games and, with Taylan May out, could now be deployed down the left side of attack to exploit the weaker right side of the Roosters' defence.

Our fair odds for To'o to score against the Rabbitohs are $2.14, with BlueBet pricing him at $1.80.

Panthers vs Rabbitohs is at Accor Stadium on Saturday, September 24 at 7:50pm AEST.

Maika Sivo Anytime Try at $1.90

Maika Sivo has failed to cross the line in his past two games, but the Eels winger was in hot form prior to that with 11 tries in nine matches.

Parramatta has scored down the left this season more often than the right or middle, and will likely be looking to play down that side against the Cowboys, with Sivo the most likely beneficiary of that.

If you're looking to take Sivo for an anytime try, BlueBet has odds of $1.90. Our fair odds are $2.14.

Kyle Feldt Anytime Try at $1.90

With 11 tries in 18 games for the Cowboys this season, Kyle Feldt is projected as the most likely to score for the home team again this weekend.

Feldt has an anytime try scorer probability of 46.1% and should enter this game with confidence after scoring a hat-trick against the Eels earlier in the season.

Our fair odds for Feldt to score this week are $2,17, with BlueBet offering $1.90.

Cowboys vs Eels is at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday, September 23 at 7:50pm AEST.
