After making the semi final in 2018, England is projected to top Group B in 2022, with the Stats Insider model giving the Three Lions a 59.0% chance of finishing on top after the group stage.

England's projected probability to advance to the second round is 83.0%, with the race for second place looking tight between the United States (44.0%), Wales (42.8%) and Iran (30.3%).

The two teams that do advance from Group B are most likely to face the Netherlands and Senegal in the round of 16.
