2023 AFL Player Ratings for Round 19

AFL Player Ratings: Key Defenders
Darcy Moore (Collingwood)

The top five key defenders remained the same after Round 18, with only one change made to the ratings. Giants defender Sam Taylor jumped ahead of Steven May into third position following GWS' 71-57 victory over Adelaide.
Darcy Moore is the best key defender in the AFL according to Stats Insider's ratings after playing in Collingwood's win over Fremantle in Round 18.
AFL Player Ratings: General Defenders

The general defender AFL player ratings remain unchanged following Round 18. Jack Sinclair is currently the AFL's best general defender according to Stats Insider AFL Player Ratings despite St Kilda losing 51-77 to Gold Coast, while Adelaide skipper Jordan Dawson maintained his spot in second.
Sinclair and the Saints face off against North Melbourne in Round 19.
AFL Player Ratings: Midfielders

There was only one change to our AFL player ratings for midfielders following Round 18, with Marcus Bontempelli jumping above Clayton Oliver following the Western Bulldogs' defeat against Sydney.
Christian Petracca retained his standing as the best midfielder in the AFL following Melbourne's narrow victory over Brisbane, amassing 26 disposals and kicking four goals.
Brownlow Medal favourite at Betfair Nick Daicos rounds out the top five midfielders in the game.
AFL Player Ratings: Rucks
Tim English (Western Bulldogs)

Rowan Marshall (St Kilda)
Sean Darcy (Fremantle)
The top three rankings for rucks in our AFL player ratings were unchanged following Round 18. St Kilda's Rowan Marshall moved above Fremantle's Sean Darcy, who injured his ankle in Fremantle's defeat to Collingwood.
Tim English is the best rated ruck in the AFL and will line up against Essendon in Round 19.

The top five AFL key forwards remained unchanged following Round 18. Charlie Curnow is our best rated key forward in the AFL following a standout performance in Carlton's 50 point win over Port Adelaide.
Jeremy Cameron held steady in third position following his successful return from injury.
