The AFL player ratings for general defenders stayed the same following Round 19.
St Kilda's Jack Sinclair is the best general defender in the AFL and is inside the top five players in the game. Sinclair's influence will be needed as the Saints face the Hawks in Round 20.

The general forwards stayed the same at the top after Round 19, with Toby Greene retaining his spot as the best general forward, with Dustin Martin in second position. Crows livewire Izak Rankine moved into the top five after his 20 disposal, three goal game in Adelaide's loss to Melbourne.
Rankine will miss Adelaide's next match against Port Adelaide with a hamstring injury.
