Round 15 AFL Best Bets

Hawthorn +19.5 at $2.00

Before their bye, we took the Hawks to cover the +39.5 line against Fremantle, which they did with ease. Now, fresh from a week off, the bookies are giving them three goals against the Bulldogs and we're backing them again.

Our model's fair odds for the Hawks to cover +18.5 on Friday night are $1.73. The best odds available come from Ladbrokes' $2 AFL lines promotion, which is huge value on a well-coached team that is welcoming back Mitch Lewis, James Worpel and Jarman Impey

Western Bulldogs vs Hawthorn is at Marvel Stadium on Friday, June 24 at 7:00pm AEST.

Matthew Owies Anytime Goal at $1.79

Our model has detected a nice edge on Matthew Owies to kick a goal for Carlton on Saturday, with our fair odds at $1.49, equal to a 67.3% probability.

This means we're getting great odds at TopSport ($1.79) on a guy who has kicked 11.8 in 13 games this season, including four in four at Marvel Satdium.

Carlton vs Fremantle is at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, June 25 at 1:45pm AEST.

Dan Butler Anytime Goal at $1.85

Saints small forward Dan Butler could have been dropped this week but has held his spot in the team at the expense of Jack Higgins.

We successfully tipped Butler to kick a goal against the Lions in Round 13 and now with Higgins out, he should be able to get multiple chances to give us another win.

Our fair odds for a Butler goal are $1.58 (63.4% probability), with the best bookie odds coming from TAB at $1.85.

Sydney vs St Kilda is at the SCG on Saturday, June 25 at 7:25pm AEST.
