Head to Head:

The Bombers have won the last 6 meetings vs the Crows which goes back to Round 1, 2018. The most recent meeting was an 18 point win in R17 last year at Marvel. The average margin in this sample is 20 points which includes a 63 point win so if you remove that outlier, it's just 11 points for the other 5 victories. 

Last week:

The Crows got over Carlton at Marvel on a big Saturday arvo. Carlton got out to 16 points midway through 4Q but 3 late Crows goals put them in front and they were able to hold on by 2 points in a super effort, their first win of the season. Their forward line worked better than it has been and they took 18 marks Inside 50, which was double their earlier season output. The majority of Stats were pretty even with the Blues having a slight edge in Clearances 41-34 and Tackles 62-53, The stat that really mattered was Carlton kicked 14.14 whereas the Crows kicked 16.4.

The Bombers had a very solid win as underdogs over the Bulldogs at Marvel. The Bombers held a slight advantage for most of the game but never more than 14 points until early in Q4 before kicking 5 goals to go 43 points up and eventually win by 29 points. Disposals, Inside 50s, Clearances, Tackles and Contested Possessions were all fairly even but it was Centre Bounce Clearances where Essendon got the edge 16-10 and dominated scores from centre bounces 19-6 which was the difference.

What we can expect this week:

Can Adelaide keep it going? Yep, in Adelaide definitely. 

They should have plenty of confidence with Rankine and Walker in great form last week and should be too good for Essendon and can cover the line with Bet Right just here.
