📈📈 The Lions make 3 changes, dropping Darcy Gardiner and Jarrod Lyons while Conor McKenna is injured. They get back Jack Payne, Darcy Fort and the midfield gun, Lachie Neale. Big Net Positive.

Head to Head:

As we know, Collingwood won the most important meeting between the 2 clubs since 2003 when they won the Premiership last year.

Prior to that Brisbane had won the previous 6 meetings by an average of 26 points.

Last week:

The Lions started brightly in Perth v Fremantle, kicking the first 4 goals of the game. Fremantle pegged them back and led 11 goals to 5 at 3/4 time. In the end a very solid 23 point defeat which means the Lions have started the season 0-2.

Collingwood got Round 1 started last Thursday v St Kilda in an entertaining game. They trailed for a lot of first half but 3 quick goals put them in front just before half-time. St Kilda came out after the break and ran away with it. Collingwood fought back a bit in the last quarter before going down by 15 points.  That made them 0-3 to start the season.

What we can expect:

With both of last year's Grand Final teams winless, one of them will still be winless after this game. Think it will be Collingwood who start the season with 4 losses and the thought of Finals this year slipping away quickly.

Brisbane are VERY hard to beat at the Gabba, they just need to finish their work off and Lachie Neale should make a big difference.
