📈 The Lions bring in Darcy Gardiner and Tunstill and have dropped Fort and Robertson in their quest to find a winning combination. This a Positive.

📈 The Kangaroos have brought in plenty of experience - Shiels and Greenwood as well as Charlie Comben. Dropped are Pink and Lazzaro, with Coleman-Jones going down with an achilles injury. Big Positive.

Head to Head:

Brisbane have won the last 6 meetings, coinciding with their conflicting fortunes. Last year at Gather Round it was a 75-point margin, the other margins being 108, 23, 1, 12 and 20.

North won the prior 6 meetings (2015 to 2018).

Last week:

Brisbane hosted Collingwood in the Grand Final replay. A massive Thursday night clash was in store with both teams yet to find a win this season.  Collingwood led by 4 goals at QT before a great Lions fightback where they hit the front right on half time. The Pies attacked hard in Q3 to lead at 3QT by 20 points and managed to keep the Lions at bay to win by that margin. It's fair to say the Lions were very disappointing with so much on the line, in front of their home crowd.

North flew the gates against Carlton getting 2 goals up halfway through the first quarter but this was about as good as it got. Carlton then kicked 9 of the next 10 goals to lead by 40 points. The final margin was 56 points and it's fair to say that flattered North a little. North won Clearances, 43-40 but lost every other key stat.

What we can expect:

Both of these clubs are winless which means one of them won't be for much longer. It can only be Brisbane and we can expect a truly hungry Lions team to come out and smash the Kangaroos and cover the 35.5 line with BetRight just here.
