📈 Collingwood add Steele Sidebottom, Richards and Harrison to their winning team of last week. It's a great position to be in and definitely Positive.

📉 The hapless Hawks get their wings clipped again, this time losing their most important forwards in Bruest and Lewis, as well as young Watson who's improving with a few games under his belt. They get in Reeves, Serong, Mitchell, Butler, Ramsden and Finn Maginness with a few to drop to the emergencies on Sunday. Just a big Negative slide.

Head to Head:

Hawthorn have an excellent recent record against Collingwood including last season in Round 21 winning by 32 points after keeping the Magpies goalless in Q1.

If we go deeper, to 2012, Hawthorn lead the head-to-head by 14-3. That's impressive!

Last week:

Collingwood went to Brisbane for the Grand Final replay in front of a big Brisbane Thursday night crowd. Both teams were yet to find a win this season so plenty on theline. Collingwood led by 4 goals at QT before a great Lions fightback where they hit the front right on half time. The Pies attacked hard in Q3 to lead at 3QT by 20 points and managed to keep the Lions at bay to win by that margin. 

The Hawks were jumped by the Cats and trailed by 6 goals at QT before managing to kick 5 in the 2nd quarter to bring it back to 11 points at HT. The Cats kicked away again in the 3rd quarter to restore the 36-point lead which was also the final margin. In the stats, the Hawks won the Clearances 44-30 and Inside 50s - 63-54 which shows how badly they need a forward line. 

What we can expect this week:

After notching their first win of the season, Collingwood should have their swagger back. They've still got improvement to come from many players and the Magpies should be able to kick a good winning score.

Notwithstanding the head-to-head record, the Hawks looks there for the taking without a recognisable forward line and be held to a very small score.
