📈 The Pies are unchanged although there was some question marks over the ribs of Scott Pendlebury. Positive.

📉 He blows hot and cold but Charlie Dixon is being managed this week, in comes Jordon Sweet for his first game in Power colours. Negative.

Collingwood have won the most recent 3 meetings, with Port winning the 3 prior. This takes us back to COVID, and the start of 2020. Other than a blowout at the MCG in R2 last season, they've played some really close games with the winning margins 2, 71, 6, 28, 1 and 16. We could absolutely see another close one here.

Last week:

The Pies had the Bye last week but back in Round 4 they started brightly essentially grinding away at Hawthorn to lead at QT by 18 points. Collingwood put their foot down in the 2Q to lead at HT by 38 points and the game looked all but over. Hawthorn managed to reduce the lead to 25 points by 3QT and then came home with a wet sail kicking 4 goals to 0 but ultimately falling 5 points short, with no goals kicked in the last 7 minutes. Hawthorn had their chances, winning the Inside 50s 53-47. Collingwood won the Tackle Count 74-58. 

Port and Freo was a low-scoring arm-wrestle with Port ultimately prevailing by 3 points in a thriller. Port's biggest lead was 13 points early in Q2 but the Dockers ground away and got 10 points in front a few times during the 2nd half. Charlie Dixon and JHF kicked the last 2 goals for Port and they held on. Port won the Inside 50s 56-46, Marks Inside 50 12-6 and Tackles 73-53. Freo won the Clearances 40-31 and the Contested Possessions 138-127.

What we can expect this week:

We should get another cracking game with Collingwood lifting their rating last week. Port's all-star midfield might be the difference and they can win this which makes getting a few points at the line, a real luxury. Take the +3.5 with Bet Right just here.
