The Crows won this meeting last year, by 39 points which was their first win since 2020.

The last meeting in Perth was in 2020 and Freo won that won 54-34 in a very low scoring game.

Last week:

Fremantle overcome a plucky North Melbourne to extend their winning start to the season to 2 games. North took it right up to them in the first half, leading by 3 goals at half-time before Freo kicked 10 goals to 3 in the 2nd half. Coach Longmuir is setting up nicely after signing a contract extension in the last couple of weeks.

Adelaide were beaten last week by Geelong on a big Friday night. Adelaide started 2 goal favourites but were unable to match Geelong for most of the game down by 3 goals at 1/4 time which was almost the final margin of 19 points. They are still chasing their first win of the season.

What we can expect:

Fremantle will be chock full of confidence after 2 fighting come-from-behind wins and look hard to beat here.

Adelaide are staring down the barrel of an 0-3 start which would be unacceptable for them given their big improvement last season.
