📈 The lose Tom Stewart to injury with Conway and Clark both dropped. Coming in they have some big namess - Zach Tuohy, Rhys Stanley and Cam Guthrie. VERY Positive.

Head to Head:

As finalists in 2023, this year will be the first year since 2013 that these teams play each other twice in the same season. Last year, the Blues won in R2, by 8 points which was played at today's venue, the MCG. The two previous meetings were at the G as well for 2 wins to Geelong.

Last week:

The Cats beat the Lions in Brisbane by 26 points, in a low scoring game. The Lions got out to 10-12 point leads in the first half before a couple of late Geelong goals got them 2 points in front at HT which was stretched to 7 points at 3QT. The Cats put it beyond doubt kicking 3 goals to 0 in Q4. Geelong won Inside 50s, Tackles, while the Contested Ball was a small win to the Lions.

The Blues had a great win over the Giants. We thought the Giants might have been a little too strong but the Blues fought hard after going 22 points behind in the 2Q. They managed to kick 8 goals in a row across Q3 and Q4 to lead by 29 points and then go on to win by 19 points which was a comfortable margin in the end. They won the Inside 50s 54-51, smashed the Giants in Clearances 48-32 and Contested Ball 151-117. The Giants won the Tackle count 68-52.  

What we can expect this week:

We can expect two very confident teams this week. And why shouldn't they be. It will be hard to split them so we must go for Carlton with the points which will be an upset. So it's the Blues at the +4.5 line with Bet Right just here
