📈 Dimma has swung the axe at his Suns players, making 6 changes in total. Out goes Ellis, Casboult, Long, Moyle, Sexton, and Budarick who are all dropped. Coming in are Witts, Day, Humphrey, Read, Graham, Macpherson, Clohesy, Rosas and Andrew (with a few dropping to emergencies on game day). So many changes is normally only a small Positive.

📈 The Giants have added 3 players to the squad with the experienced Nick Haynes and Lachie Keeffe coming back in with Angwin. They really are a strong squad right now so only a small Positive.

Head to Head:

If we go back to 2015, there's been 12 meeting between the two teams and the Giants lead 11-1. The sole win by the Suns was in 2021 at Mars Stadium (Ballarat), by a solitary point. 

Most recently, the Giants won by 40 points in R19 last season at Manuka Oval, Canberra.  

Last week:

The Suns had a bye last week but were soundly beaten in Round 2 by the Bulldogs in Ballarat by 8 goals. 

The Giants also had a bye last week after smashing the hapless Eagles by 65 points in Round 2, a 39-point victory over North Melbourne in Round 1 and a 32-point victory over the reigning Premiers, Collingwood, in Round 0.  They have had a scintillating start to 2024 and are deserved early Premiership favourites. 

What we can expect this week:

The Giants started the Round on Top of the Ladder with a 20% buffer to the 2nd placed Freo. They are a very strong squad playing very strong football and it's hard to see the Suns being able to produce enough to match them.

Dimma will throw the magnets around but ultimately won't have enough answers for the Giants all round toughness and the Giants should cover the 23.5 point line with Bet Right just here.
