Last week:

The Suns were slowly away against the Giants, who got out to a 3-goal lead in Q1. The Suns pegged them back to hit the front 4 times during Q2 and Q3 before the Giants went into the last break up by 8 points. The Giants finished too strong for the Suns, kicking 5 goals to 2 in the last quarter. The Giants won the Inside 50s 69-55, Clearances 37-32, Contested Possessions 135-126 and Tackles 47-37. The Suns are now 2-2 after a bright start to the season.

The Hawks started slowly against the Pies and couldn't get much going in the 1Q, with Ginnivan kicking their first goal close to QT. The Pies put their foot down in the 2Q to lead at HT by 38 points and the game looked all but over but the Hawks managed to reduce the lead to 25 points by 3QT. They came home with a wet sail kicking 4 goals to 0 but ultimately falling 5 points short, with no goals kicked in the last 7 minutes. Hawthorn had their chances, winning the Inside 50s 53-47.

What we can expect this week:

Dimma would be very happy to have the Suns back up in Queensland after losing two games on the road in Ballarat and Adelaide. 

Hawthorn will take great heart from the comeback against Collingwood and would be quietly confident of sticking close to the Suns this week. 

The Suns should have a bit too much at home and cover the line with Bet Right just here.
