📈 Plenty of changes at the Suns with the enlarged squad for Sunday - Atkins, Sexton, Day, Macpherson and Moyle come in with just Read (Managed) and Uwland dropped for now, 3 more to fall out before Sunday. Positive.

📈 It's a similar story at West Coast, but firstly, Harley Reid is "managed", back home with family in Victoria, Barrass suspended and Noah Long injured. They get back in the Squad - Liam Ryan, Gaff, Luke Edwards, Cully, Harry Edwards and have called up Harvey Johnston to make his debut. Also 3 players to fall out of the squad on Sunday.

Head to Head:

Gold Coast have won 4 of the last 5 meetings between the teams including a 70-point win in Perth in R9, 2023 which was the most recent match. Gold Coast have also won the last 3 meetings at Metricon, since they drew back in 2015.

Last week:

We had decent hopes that Gold Coast could stick with Sydney last week but they were never really in the hunt. They trailed at Q7 by 25 points, 11 points at HT, 43 points at 3QT before losing by 53 points. They lost Inside 50s 57-49, Clearances 33-30, Tackles 73-62 but managed to win Contested ball 133-125. 

West Coast strangled Freo for their first Derby win since 2021. It was an arm-wrestle for most of Q1 before the Eagles got on top kicking the next 6 goals and leading at HT by 37 points and then 64 points at 3QT, their biggest lead of the match. Freo put a few goals in Q4 but it was still an emphatic 37 point win to the Eagles. Harley Reid looked great, again. The Eagles won the Inside 50s 48-40 and Contested Ball 132-108 - which is quite a smashing.  

What we can expect this week:

Gold Coast can do a number on a Harley Reid-less Eagles. Suns will be happy to be at home again and given the long trip for the Eagles, it's hard to see them getting close. So it's the Suns to cover the -32.5 line with Bet Right just here
