The Giants beat the Saints in the Elimination Final last year but the Saints won the previous 4 meetings including this round 2 years ago at Manuka.

Last week:

The Giants got away to a first start against the Suns, getting out to a 3-goal lead in Q1. The Suns pegged them back to hit the front 4 times during Q2 and Q3 before the Giants went into the last break up by 8 points. The Giants finished too strong for the Suns, kicking 5 goals to 2 in the last quarter. The Giants won the Inside 50s 69-55, Clearances 37-32, Contested Possessions 135-126 and Tackles 47-37.

The Saints played the Tigers on the weird Norwood Oval. The Tigers kicked the first 4 goals of the game and got out to 22pt lead at HT, playing the narrow ground better than St Kilda. St Kilda came out after HT and played a better possession game and kicked 6 goals to 2 in the 3Q and flip to an 8pt lead at 3QT. The Saints played smart footy in the last quarter to get home by 7 points in a low-scoring game. The Saints had 402 total disposals to win that by 44. Inside 50s, Clearances and Contested Possession were almost identical in a very even matchup.

What we can expect this week:

The Giants are the Premiership favourites and you would think should be able to handle the Saints here. 

The Saints are playing Ross-style footy, and it's good enough to play against most teams. 

This should be a real test for them and the Giants look well-placed to cover the 19.5 point line with Bet Right just here.
