📈 In for the Bulldogs are Ugle-Hagan, Clarke, Libba, Baker and Poulter. They've got a couple of outs with Weightman (elbow) and Rhylee West suspended. Positive.

📈 The Hawks bring back to the Squad 5 players - Watson, D'Ambrosio, Phillips, Ward and Dear. Out goes Chol (suspended) and Serong. Positive.

Head to Head:

Last time out was R22 last year and the Hawks upset the Bulldogs in Tasmania, by 3 points which was part of the poor run that cost the Bulldogs a place in the Finals. Going back to 2018, the Bulldogs lead the Hawks 6-2. 

Last week:

Fremantle were too good for the Bulldogs in Perth winning by 24 points. The Bulldogs got their noses in front briefly in Q2, but the Dockers managed to fight back to stay 1-2 goals in front until late in Q4 when they kicked 3 goals to stretch the margin. It was a fairly even game on the stats, except Clearances went 47-30 to the Dockers. So, an even close game until late when the Dockers took their chances to get the win. 

We were all a little worried how the Hawks would handle the Swans and it's fair to say they didn't handle them at all. The Swans took a 25-point lead to QT before finally settling with a 76-point win. Coach Mitchell's frustration was visible which is a real shift from his normally composed self. Hard to believe the margin could be so great when you consider that Sydney had just 3 more Inside 50s than the Hawks (50-47). The Hawks also won Clearances 35-30 and Contested Ball 128-110. Just not a lot of quality when in possession by the Hawks.  

What we can expect this week:

Bevo's Bulldogs can bounce back, hard. Happy to have them to cover the -24.5 line with Bet Right just here
