Head to Head

Not a lot of value tonight in this main market with a very slight edge for the Sixers (3%). This will be a game where the ball is dominant so the toss will be crucial with a big advantage to the team batting second.

Highest Opening Partnership

Despite their frightening ability to throw away wickets in the first or second over, the Sixers have a slight 3% edge in this market over the Renegades. I’d say Tim Ludeman is the reason. Possible chance that he slides here and Harvey opens with Harper which would really change things up but whoever the Renegades open with they will be facing Stephen O’Keefe who loves an early wicket.

Most Sixes

Geez there is not a lot of love for the renegades tonight in any markets. The model has them favourites to take this down at 46% but that’s right where the bookies are and there is even a 2% edge for the Sixers in this market. 4 6’s probably wins this tonight and I’d back the team batting first because the chasers may not have to chase that hard.

High Bat

Mackenzie Harvey at $11’s is value because he is a strong chance to bat top 4. They don’t have too many lefties in their lineup and pre-season he was slated to open with Ludeman.

For the Sixers it’s Daniel Hughes at $4.50 for mine.

Player of the Match

Searching for value down the list I am looking strongly at Cam Boyce at $23’s. Strong chance to pick up a few wickets in that Sixers middle order and break the game apart for the home side. Sam Harper at $13’s is a good bet he has been in great form, and I always like Cam White and Dan Hughes both at $11’s. Joe Denly at $12’s is big value.

Dan Fraser

Former ABC Journo and Champion Data stats nerd who loves his fantasy sport, punting, footy, cricket, golf - you get the point. More than prepared to take driver off the deck from 250 out (especially if it's for a beverage or two!) but will also happily take my medicine when the occasion calls for it. Pumped to be part of the Stats Insider team - if it's value and it's footy, I'm all over it in 2019 folks!
