Welcome to Stats Insider's Big Bash Market Preview - your daily look at what the model (and my gut!) are seeing in the main markets (and a few exotics) each and every day of BBL08!
The model has made a big call in an even bigger game for both the Thunder and the Renegades tonight at Spotless, highlighting an edge for the Renegades to be leading after 6 Overs.

Head to Head
For the second day in a row bookies can't split the teams H2H with both sides at $1.92. The model has a slight edge for the Renegades (2%) but no suggested bet in the main market.
After 6 Overs
Very interesting suggested bet from the model here with a 5% edge on the Renegades to be leading the Thunder after six overs. Given Watson's form it's a big call from the model but the Renegades do have power at #3 in Harper whereas Ferguson does tend to knock it around early.
High Bat
I like the value about Mohammad Nabi at $9 and Dan Christian at 13's, expect they will get plenty of time at the crease tonight.
For the home side it's hard to go past Watson on form but his price is just super short, prefer to look down the list to Ferguson at $5 and Sangha at $7.
Player of the Match
Throw a few darts at the spinners tonight. I like Ahmed at $17's and Nair at $21's as well as Chris Green at $26. Cam Boyce should also love these conditions. One of these spinners has a 3/20 effort in them and that should be enough to take down this market.
