Despite the best efforts of both sides throughout the season, there is a finals berth up for grabs for the winner tonight as Brisbane say farewell to Baz McCullum in his final match at the Gabba.

No Suggested Bets Early

The model has identified small edges for the Stars across multiple markets this morning but no suggested bets as of time of writing. As always make sure you check back into the match page closer to the toss to see what value there is to be found.

High Bat

Really Like the $11 about Alex Ross tonight against a spin-dominant Stars side that will also bowl a lot of slower balls. Just the type of bowling that suits Ross. In form too. Solid value if you think early wickets for the Heat are likely (which I do). Peirson at $13's also appeals.

For the Stars I really like Pete Handscombe for a little bit more value. Stoinis is the obvous choice at $3.25 but Handscombe at $4.50 does offer good value for a first drop against the worst bowling attack in the comp.

Player of the Match

McCullum will win this if the Heat win and he gets any sizeable score, but much more likely is Marcus Stoinis getting 2 wickets and 50 runs. Love him tonight.
