Introducing the new Racing

The 2018 sporting calendar was an incredible year for our team here at Stats Insider.
We launched an amazing array of sporting projections, from the AFLW to the FIFA World Cup, to the AFL, NRL, NFL, multiple football/soccer leagues and BBL cricket - to, finally, our popular, daily (in-season) NBA and Tennis predictions.
We also launched our first Horse Racing model around the 2018 Spring Carnival, with some exciting results.
Since then, we've spent months refining and defining our racing model into an even more informative, educational and valuable punting tool.
The biggest and most detailed addition to our Horse Racing arsenal, is, of course, Race Pro.
Race Pro
Stats Insider's Race Pro digs deeper into the form of all the runners in a given race, focusing on factors relevant to that particular race, presenting them in a simple, easy to read format that allows you to make meaningful comparisons between each of the runners in the blink of an eye.
These key factors identified in Race Pro include the following variables:
TRACK
DISTANCE
GOING (track condition)
SI %
You can get to Race Pro by clicking on an individual race from the Raceday Schedule, Quick View Form, or the Cheat Sheet, and clicking the 'Race Pro' tab.

Another one of our new initiatives is the redeveloped Cheat Sheet.
Cheat Sheet
In a nutshell, the Cheat Sheet is a summary of all the value plays (or Edges) identified by the Stats Insider model on a particular days' racing in one convenient, easy to read location! So if what you are really after is a summary of what the model thinks about a particular day’s racing this may be the tool for you!

We've also added the brand new Quick View Form.
Quick View Form
Drawing on the information contained in the Race Pro, Stats Insider's Quick View Form assigns each runner a score for each of the following four categories:
* Past performance over the distance of today’s race;
* Past performance when racing on today’s track conditions (known as 'going');
* Past performance when racing at today’s location; and
* Any 'value’ the SI model has identified relative to its current market price.
These individual scores are then combined to produce an overall score for each runner racing on that particular day.
In essence, the Quick View Form page is a summary of all the runners on a particular day that the data says have historically performed well in the above categories, weeding out the rest of the runners who have not!

We currently provide racing form and other valuable racing tools for major metro VIC, NSW and QLD meetings. See the upcoming meetings table for the next race day.

Keep an eye out for more horse racing content over the coming weeks and months, and, as always, if you are using this information to have a punt please always remember to gamble responsibly.
