Round 12 NRL Betting Tips

Titans +7.5 at $2.00

At the time of writing, David Fifita looks set to play for the Titans against Brisbane this week after being named on the bench. This would be huge for Gold Coast, which has lost 3 of its 4 games without Fifita when you include the Titans-Panthers match in Round 8 that he went down in.

On the other side of the field, the Broncos are dealing with the issue of Payne Haas requesting immediate leave from the club earlier in the week.

This is interesting for us, because as Haas is currently named in team, our model is factoring him into the matchup. But even if Haas plays, the Titans are still a bet.

Obviously this means if Haas is out, the Titans will become even better value, so this is a smart one to jump on either way – especially if you take the $2 NRL lines with Ladbrokes that are on offer every Friday and Sunday.

The Broncos host the Titans at Suncorp Stadium on Friday, May 27 at 7:55pm AEST.

Paul Momirovski anytime try scorer at $4.20

So far in 2022, the Sharks have conceded 52% of their tries down the right side of the defence, as opposed to only 16% down the left.

Combine that with the fact that the Sharks' regular right centre Jesse Ramien is out suspended, and there's some value in betting try scorers from the Roosters' left side this weekend.

Sydney's Paul Momirovski has already scored three tries this season, including one last week in the Roosters' loss to the Panthers.

Our fair odds for this one are $3.76, giving us a nice edge on the $4.20 we're getting at Sportsbet.

The Sharks take on the Roosters at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday, May 28 at 7:35pm AEST.

Matt Dufty anytime try scorer at $3.30

With Canterbury's Matt Dufty coming up against his former team in the Dragons, it's time for a revenge game bet!

After scoring 44 tries in 82 games for St George Illawarra, the fullback's time at the Bulldogs has begun slowly, with just one try in 11 games.

As the Dragons were the ones to call time on his career with them, we fully expect Dufty to come out firing on Sunday afternoon in front of his new home crowd.

Plus, there's an edge! Our model has the fair odds here at $2.97, which is nice and low compared to the $3.30 on offer, a rarity in try scorer betting.

The Bulldogs play against the Dragons at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday, May 29 at 2:00pm AEST.
