Round 14 NRL Betting Tips

Dragons +12.5 at $1.91

This tip is contingent on the availability of Ben Hunt, who featured in Origin I on Wednesday, but if he plays, it looks like a great bet, with the Dragons in desperate need of a big performance, and ideally a win against third-placed Cowboys.

The Dragons are in 9th position on the NRL ladder, but their points differential is far worse than the clubs around them, meaning they can't afford to lose by a large margin if they get beaten.

We have the Dragons as a 57% chance of covering the line here, with the best odds coming from bet365.

Cowboys vs Dragons is at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Friday, June 10 at 7:50pm AEST.

Brian Kelly Anytime Try at $3.40

Titans centre Brian Kelly may not have scored in his last five games, but he is a proven try scorer and comes up against a Rabbitohs defence he can exploit this week.

Kelly has scored 44 tries in 110 career appearances, including four in the first five games of 2022.

With the Titans preferring to play down the left this season (51% of tries scored) and the Rabbitohs conceding on the right side of defence more than anywhere else, this could be the week Kelly breaks his cold streak.

Our fair odds for a Kelly try this week are $2.93, making the $3.40 on offer at Sportsbet look very nice.

Titans vs Rabbitohs is at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday, June 11 at 3:00pm AEST.

Teig Wilton Anytime Try at $5.40

Teig Wilton had only two tries in 21 career games prior to this season, but has since scored four times in 11 appearances for the Sharks in 2022.

Last week's performance by the Warriors was dismal, and the Sharks are expected to target Shaun Johnson in particular to pile on the points.

The Sharks have two of Round 14's most likely try scorers in Ronaldo Mulitalo and Sione Katoa, but if you're looking for value, Sportsbet is offering $5.40 on a Wilton try, which we have as a $4.11 shot.

Warriors vs Sharks is at Moreton Daily Stadium on Sunday, June 12 at 6:15pm AEST.
