Both teams have had poor starts to the year but the Titans thrashing at home against the Dragons looks particularly bad. It looks even worse when you line up that the Dragons were beaten 38-0 by the Dolphins in Round 2.

In contrast, the Doggies have had to play the Eels and Sharks for the opening two rounds, which are both tough teams. Although the score line in both of these matches were not flattering, I think they showed significant improvement last week against the Sharks.

However, the lack of props for the Dogs is a real worry. Max King is their only genuine NRL-standard front rower and with a few injuries, they are really scraping the barrel.

If there is one area where the Titans are strong, it is in the middle of the park.

While I think this game will be very close and I do think home ground advantage will help, I think the Titans offer some value with the small head start at the line.
