The Cowboys were another team that really impressed me last weekend and I thought they were unlucky to not get the win. They won many of the key statistical areas and it was only Holmes kicking that let them down. In Townsville, they are always a hard team to beat.

In contrast, the Dolphins injury woes only get worst with the loss of J Bromwich. This means the Dolphins are now missing 5 key starting players (Flegler, Farmworth, Hammer, Kaufusi and J Brom). The experience and class of these 5 will mean the Dolphins will again be relying on some of their young guns to lift to the occasion.

The good news is, guys like Fuller, Katoa and Plath continue to play out of their skins, and I do give them some chance of pulling off an upset. The money has come for the Cowboys and although they absolutely dominated the Dolphins in Round 1, I think the Dolphins have improved a lot since then and the line is a little too big on my ratings.

The Cowboys have lost a few outside backs and so I think the Dolphins will fancy their chances out wide.
