The Dragons have conceded a ton of points in the past fortnight and the Round 1 celebrations seem like a distant memory already. However I thought last week there were some key turning points that could have seen the game evolve differently. At 18-4 up, RFM dropped a grubber over the line and from that the Cowboys scored and never looked back. Lomax also dropped a bomb when the Dragons were trying to change the momentum of the game, and once again the Cowboys captilised on this error.
The Dragons are also welcoming back some key players in the middle, with Liddle and Su’a likely to be back from injury, F Molo back from suspension and Sele to play his first game of the season. All of these guys are quality forwards and should stiffen up the middle and improve their mobility.
Manly were strong again against the Eels, but their bench and wingers are key weaknesses and something I think the Dragons could take advantage of given that is where they are strongest.
With a 8.5 point head start, the Dragons appeal.
Predicted score: 22 Manly - Dragons 18

You want it to be fun. Nobody got into this for it to be a chore, did they? You want to make good bets, and enjoy riding the outcomes
