Knights were gritty in the rain last weekend against the Dragons and although they are yet to get anywhere near their 2023 form, there are signs things are improving.

Hastings is definitely the best option they have to partner Cogger, while Brailey also looks much more settled now that he has got some footy under his belt. If he can stay healthy, then I think his return is what can see the Knights match and then exceed their 2023 form.

As for the Roosters, it is carnage for them… missing Teddy, Walker and Dom Young. That is the best player, their key half and their most dangerous outside back.

Although Manu is very good at 1, his involvement has been patchy in 2024 and I think the Roosters forwards still look a little off the pace. Watson and Keary in the halves shows that Robinson is struggling for depth, with his first and second choice halfbacks both unavailable.

At home and with Ponga in sizzling form, I think the Knights get the win here and happy with the odds on offer earlier in the week.
