This is one of those games where the results from last week do not properly reflect the performances of the teams. Bouncing back from a horror show against the Raiders on Round 1, I thought the Knights were the better team against Cowboys in Townsville. A few silly errors and a couple of hometown calls for the Cowboys helped get them back in the match and so Knights head into this winless, but not playing as bad as their critics think.

The Storm deserve credit for stealing the game away from the Warriors, but I think the Storm’s form line is a little overblown. Both their wins this year have been very close and played at home. The Storm’s fast-moving defence and niggle in the ruck is not well received when away from home and I think the Knights will get plenty of help from their loyal fans.

But most importantly, the Storm are a good chance of being without Munster, Hughes and Big Nelson here! That is a lot of talent to be missing and I have the Knights favourites based on likely teams to be running out on Sunday. Even if Munster and/or Big Nelson are named, both will be lacking in match fitness and below their best this weekend.
