The Knights first half was close to flawless last weekend. They completed at 100% and made nearly all of their tackles. The Dolphins were not great but even then, they came very close to snatching the lead just before half time. So although it was impressive to see the Knights stand up without their captain and best player, I am not getting too carried away.

Frizzell is back this week and now that they have unleashed Armstrong at 1, they do have a few strike weapons, but overall their attack is much weaker without KP lurking in the wrap around play.

As for the Warriors, their form slump is baffling. While it is clear they are missing some talent up front, I did not quite appreciate how shallow they were in terms of depth. The good news is, guys like Laban and Maiu’u will only get better with each NRL game they get under their belt.

But statistically, the Warriors were very poor defensively last weekend. Despite having more possession, the Warriors missed more tackles, conceded more line breaks and in the end, conceded more tries than the Titans. A few late tries made the score line look respectable, but the Titans were the better team for most of the game.

This one could go either way, with both teams form line all over the shop at present. Unless I can get a line that is 4 or bigger in these games, I stay away from backing the underdog as there is too much uncertainty for me.

Predicted score: 21 Knights - Warriors 20
