While it is certainly not panic stations for the Panthers, their last 160 minutes of footy has been their worst in over 4 years. They were sluggish against Wigan and failed to make the most of their chances, while last weekend they were held scoreless by a Storm team that was missing two of their best players in Nelson and Munster.

The Panthers outside backs are not clicking like they have in the past, with Turuva having a tough time of it on the wing. Cleary is also looking less dangerous this year and the Panthers lack of an elite 9 is proving to be a factor in 2024.

The Eels on the other hand, flew out fo the blocks last week and this kind of strong start to the season is something that Coach Arthur has become famous for. Moses' groin injury is a bit of a worry, because surely it will be an ongoing factor, and I do worry about the Eels depth this year.

But based on recent form, this one will be extremely close. With the Eels good record against the Panthers, a play at the +6.5 on offer is very tempting.
