Really happy to see that Coach Bennett has gone with Fuller to fill in for the Hammer. The nippy number 1 has been one of the best players in the QLD Cup for the past few years and did not look out of place when called up to NRL in 2023. Considering the Hammer is out for at least a month, it makes sense not to move Kodi from the halves.

As for the Eels, while I was happy to see them win for us last weekend, it was a performance based on grit rather than class. The Cowboys blew their early dominance and then the Eels got the ascendancy through sheer will and determination.

Although the Dolphins are definitely vulnerable without Hammer, Farmworth and Flegler (their 3 best players on my rankings), I think they were looking good last weekend against the Broncos until the Hammer got ruled out. Even when the Broncos did get the ascendancy, it was through some tries that were against the run of play.

On neutral territory (Darwin), I think the Dolphins are right in this and like the +8.5 that is on offer at some bookies.
