Manly started the season on fire, but have had two poor performances in the past couple of games. Once Tom T is shut down, the Manly attack does not have much to offer and their bench is not providing the spark needed at the NRL level.

In contrast, the Panthers’ depth continues to amaze, with Schneider slotting in seamlessly last weekend. The Panthers line speed was amazing against the Roosters and their outside backs yardage game continues to be the key to their success. Their demolition of the Roosters was so impressive, that at present it is hard to see anything other than a repeat of 2023 GF.

But Manly at home will lift here and I think this game will be a ripper. Although Fisher-Harris is a big inclusion, his 2024 form was a little bit down even before his injury, so I am not expecting him to fire straight away.

On my system, the Panthers are slightly better but throw in the home ground advantage and I am leaning towards Manly.

Predicted score: 19 Panthers - Manly 18
