Souths are in turmoil and whenever a club has a grey cloud hanging over it, I am always reluctant to bet on them or against them.

While it is likely Souths will continue to struggle, the suspension of Latrell may be a blessing in disguise. Jye Graham is electric at the back and with Latrell giving away stupid penalties in recent times, this could be just what Souths need to get back to playing high percentage footy.

I also like that Peter M has been given a shot at 9 ahead of Cook. Peter has been killing it in the NSW Cup for years and should have been given more NRL time over the years.

But they are coming up against a Sharks outfit that I think is really flying under the radar. Besides their one loss against Wests, the Sharks have been pretty impressive at times and can pile on points. They have no real weaknesses and I think they will continue on their winning streak and Souths will slide further into their hole.

Predicted score: 24 Sharks - Souths 14
