Although the Storm keep winning, I am still not filled with confidence. The Roosters played very poorly and yet the Storm can probably count themselves lucky over a few of the tries that they were awarded. So far this year, the Storm have won narrow games off the back of their gritty defence and control of the ruck, so I am not sold on them as a powerhouse just yet.

But Souths are still looking very vulnerable. Although they showed some spirit a fortnight ago against the Sharks, they have only one win in 2024 and I am not sure they have the attacking weapons to penetrate this Storm defence. Arrow’s return will help and I also like that J Gagai has been given a spot on the wing. Never quite understood why he was dropped to start with!

The Storm's attack is still far too clunky to be interested in them at the Line as their outside backs (besides Coates, who is on fire) lack the killer instinct needed.
