NRL Pro Punter Previews - Warriors v Sharks, Round 1 2024

Round 1 continues with a couple of games on Friday night, starting with the early one from New Zealand.

Although Round 1 has a few blockbuster clashes, this one is going to be a beauty!

The Warriors trialled very strongly, and I know a lot of good judges that really rate the Warriors a chance this year.

As for the Sharks, although I think they may struggle against the good teams at the end of the season, they head into this one with a very settled line up and I think they are a big chance of pulling off an upset.

In some ways, I wish I did not watch the trial matches because there is a risk that you over analyse the form that you saw. The Sharks, in their second game against the Doggies, played poorly… but they were without Hynes… who is so crucial to their attack. Their defence was actually very good, so I am unsure as to how they will turn up in this one.

On my ratings I would probably have this one closer to a pick.
