Wests were totally outplayed by the Raiders last weekend and although there were promising signs in the form of young Galvin, it looked very much like the 2022 and 2023 version of the Tigers.

With 36 missed tackles and defensive lapses like what occurred before half time to allow Savage to sneak down sideline to score a try, Wests still lack the defensive application needed to compete in the NRL.

Their outside backs are not up to the standard needed and this is one area where the Sharks are lethal, so I do think the Sharks will have plenty of success out wide this weekend.

The Sharks are flying high and with some of their props about to come back, their team should only be getting stronger from here.

I don’t normally like backing teams at home who have to give away a big head start, particularly with only 80 minutes of 2024 form to go off, but this line seems far too small to me.
