The 2019/2020 NBA season has been one for the history books, with Disney World in Orlando currently playing host to the infamous 'Bubble'.
While the “regular season” (ironic name considering the year it's been) is coming to an end, there are plenty of stats and stories to both reflect on, and look forward to, ahead of the playoffs.
Here is a recap of the stats and surprises from inside the bubble.

THE INCREDIBLE RISE OF T.J WARREN
Starting his career with the Phoenix Suns as a mid-First Round pick in 2014, T.J Warren has suddenly come to life with the Indiana Pacers recently, with his seemingly nightly high-octane outbursts taking the NBA by surprise.
Pre-bubble, Warren was averaging 15.5 ppg, yet has averaged 31.1 over his last 6 games, highlighted by a 53-point splurge against Philadelphia. He also went off for 39 against the Western Conference #1 seed LA Lakers, with the Pacers getting home by 5.
While Warren has injured his ankle and will miss a short amount of time, he and his Pacers look threatening ahead of the playoffs, while coach Nate McMillan has received a contract extension.

THE UNDEFEATED SUNS
The Phoenix Suns were seemingly dead and buried entering the NBA Bubble, as the worst participating Western Conference team, saddled with an underwhelming 26-39 record.
The Suns seemed destined to miss the playoffs for a 10th straight season yet have reeled off nine wins in a row and are now a big chance to steal a highly improbable post-season spot.
Their $158 million, unquestionable star, Devin Booker, has driven the Suns surge, averaging 30.1 points and hitting the 3-ball at 36.9%, while Phoenix is also getting brilliant contributions from the likes of Mikal Bridges and Spanish veteran Ricky Rubio, while 2018 #1 pick Deandre Ayton has also excelled, nearly averaging a double-double, with 15.1 points and and 9.6 rebounds per game.

LILLARD VS THE CLIPPERS
This season has been one of the most notable amid Damian Lillard’s already illustrious career. It all started when Lillard missed his two free throws in the clutch against the Clippers, and subsequently mocked by Paul George and Patrick Beverly. The name-calling branched out into social media with Skip Bayless even injecting himself into the foray.
However, what's followed this bizarre set of events has been an absolute Lillard explosion, depositing 154 points over his last three games, and becoming just the second player in NBA history, along with Wilt Chamberlain, to drop 60+ points on three seperate occasions in the one season. Chamberlain had initially set the mark in the 1961/62 season playing for the Philadelphia Warriors.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN THE PLAYOFFS
While the Lakers haven't exactly set the world on fire within the bubble, slumping to 3-5, they have been overly good enough to clinch the #1 seed in the Western Conference while it's widely understood that post-season LeBron James is an entirely different matter altogether. Along with his new partner-in-crime Anthony Davis, the Lakers are sure to be a formidable proposition in the post-season.
Moreover, the playoffs in general are looming as a feast of mouth-watering contests. Indiana and Miami will lock horns for the right to square off against the all-conquering Bucks. In the West, the Rockets and Thunder will face off in a matchup which pits NBA legends Chris Paul and James Harden against their former teams.
There are however big story-lines around every corner, while we can't wait for the incredibly rewarding bubble to deliver once agin. If the playoffs are anything like we've been treated to so far, we're set for some serious entertainment.
