Hawthorn faces North Melbourne in Tasmania, with the Hawks looking to secure their first win of the 2023 AFL season.

Hawthorn has started their campaign with two heavy defeats at the hands of Essendon and Sydney, while North Melbourne is undefeated, winning games against West Coast and Fremantle.

Our AFL predictive model values Hawthorn as a $2.17 prospect, but with Betfair posting $2.60 odds, the Hawks are one of the best AFL bets of the weekend.

Melbourne to defeat Sydney at $1.84

Melbourne plays the undefeated Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

The Demons are looking to return to the winner's list following a defeat against Brisbane, while the Swans sit atop the 2023 AFL ladder following wins over the Gold Coast and Hawthorn.

The Demons are rated as a $1.61 with Betfair, which makes the $1.84 currently on offer for Melbourne to defeat Sydney as one of the best AFL bets of the day.
